Tracy incluye colores brillantes, distorsiones, bultos faciales extraños y globos oculares colgantes en su trabajo. Tracy Widdess started knitting in 1999 and learned by herself. With a lot of imagination and inventiveness, he creates terrifying and striking wool monsters typical of science fiction. She calls her work "brutal knitting." Widdess combines labor and machine to create her own technique. Each of her pieces requires an average of one month of work. Tracy includes bright colors, distortions, strange facial bumps and hanging eyeballs in her work. The graphic quality of their masks, the inventively crafted patterns, are both fun and conflicting. By making these woven masks, Tracy Widdess finds catharsis in a unique form of textile art.
